Barnsley’s Chris Ibbotson is both in pole position and the driving seat when it comes to managing a brand new store - as he has just taken the controls at GAME Crystal Peaks, and the Sheffield Shopping Centre is also proud to announce the arrival of Europe’s leading video games chain who showcase all console formats and new software releases, as well as presenting some good opening value offers.
 25 years old Chris from Hemingfield has been with GAME – the UK's largest game retailer, since September 1999, starting part time but soon progressing to full time Sales Assistant duties. Just 4 years ago he became Keyholder and eventual Deputy Manager of the Meadowhall store - himself in charge of training new employees, performance management, administration and stock control before being steered toward Crystal Peaks. The store based in Unit 33 is 90m2 and stocks over 1200 separate products. Chris said “The Peaks team of 7 and I are very excited about our store opening as we are now able to provide a dedicated gaming specialist to South Sheffield, and we hope that customers will take advantage of our extensive range of games and accessories, as well as the expertise of all our talented staff all year round. We want to exceed customer expectation and will work tirelessly to be first choice and build the business through a strong team spirit to give our customers the very highest standards of service they will naturally come to receive and rightfully expect.
