SHINING NEW LIGHT FOR BRIGHTHOUSEThe future’s bright for High Green’s Ann McDermott as BrightHouse – the High Street furniture, home electronic and domestic appliance retailer, is pleased to announce and welcome her as the new Manager to their brand new store within Crystal Peaks’ West Mall. Sheffield born and bred Ann joined Brighthouse over 3 years ago as an Account Representative in Doncaster's Frenchgate Centre, quickly followed by a 'home turf' promotional move to Sheffield's The Moor branch as deputy Manager. Later becoming the Manager at Brighthouse's Hillsborough unit. Finally, she has been given her very own pristine 2,400 sq ft outlet at multi award winning Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre.  Ann McDermott - the new manager at BrightHouse She brings with her a wealth of over 30 years of retail sales experience plus extensive product knowledge and that of management systems, administration structures and accountancy skill sets. Said Ann, “It’s a case of been there, seen it, done it and got the tee-shirt. From humble beginnings working at Timpson’s Shoes on Hillsborough Corner to being a full blown regional trainer based at the Y.E.B. (Yorkshire Electricity Board) in Leeds travelling and tutoring throughout the length and breadth of South, West and North Yorkshire makes you a real people person – you could say I’ve been around a bit! But it really helps, I just love meeting people and listening to their stories too.” She added, "My personal philosophy is one of total respect for our customers and we must always put them 1st.
