ANNOUNCING THE ARRIVAL OF BAY TRADING…
Sheffield Crystal Peaks’ is pleased to announce the opening of Bay Tradings’ new fashion store in ‘Unit L’ of the Shopping Centres recently extended East Mall walkway, and the company has named proud Ecclesfield born resident Debbie Broadhead new Store Manager.  Debbie is no stranger to haut couture and the fashion business, since straight from leaving Herries Comprehensive School she trained in hairdressing and beauty at Rotherham College of Arts & Technology for over two years. Her first career opportunity came with ‘Top Shop’ on Fargate as part time Sales Assistant. “You see all my life’s working career has been devoted to clothes and fashion, which I love, but it wasn’t all plain sailing in the early days. I definitely had a lack of commitment!” Explained Debbie, “I only did twelve hours at first because my Mum ran a ladies clothes stall on Sheffield Market and I helped her out too. But I eventually knuckled down and went full time with ‘Top Shop’ to serve four years, left, got married and had a daughter! After a brief respite, I heard a new ‘Warehouse’ store was opening at Meadowhall, I applied and was successful. Later I transferred a little further along the mall to Aquascutum (from the Latin ‘Aqua’ meaning water and ‘Scutum’ meaning shield) - in other words it was a very, very high quality waterproof tailored clothes retailer.” She added, “I came to Bay in ’99 as a part time Sales Assistant, then to full time, to Senior Sales, Supervisor and finally Store Manager. I love Bay. There’s great collaboration with all Managers, including Area, they are so supportive of each other that in turn helps our loyal customers get the design, style and size they want. With Bay it’s a fast paced and fun environment and one that ensures excellent Customer Service, so the team and I look forward to welcoming you to our new Bay Trading store right here at Crystal Peaks.” 29th November 2007
