FASHION STATEMENT MADE AT CRYSTAL PEAKSThe ‘wow factor’ in sight, sound and clothes certainly came to life at Crystal Peaks last week. The much-anticipated annual three-day event saw 3 adrenaline powered almost back-to-back fashion shows each day, which had style addicts flocking to view at the award winning Sheffield Shopping Centre.
Top national and international male and female models from the Team@Catwalkers (of Huddersfield) strutted their stuff on the runway, featuring the latest geometrical forms such as circles and spirals along with rough cuts from Top Shop, New Look and Bon Marché – all showcasing their exclusive Autumn range. Select and Sainsbury’s TU clothing also made a very memorable show presenting a cool mixture of textures, beautiful colours, and fabrics that fascinated and delighted the fashion loving spectators. Other impressive quick clothes changeovers came from Officers Club with a mix of couture and street fashion plus Claire’s Accessories complimenting their new seasons trends. “Many people seem to be quite unaware that Crystal Peaks has a majority of fashion outlets and the brilliance is — we’ve clothes that appeal to so many generations even parenting with our Mothercare store.” Commented Centre Manager, Chris Jones, “With youthful party clothes on display from Peacock’s and such distinctive luxurious scenes from Dorothy Perkins and Evans, there’s something for everyone here. Even the gentlemen were tempted by the elegance of D2, Northridge and Burtons. I’m pleased to say all this coming seasons fashion is catered for. Youthful aspects are covered with provocative shades and striking new styles from Adams and Bewise. Both stores are looking after the practical but functional children’s clothing especially the topical back-to school range, which were on display. So all in all, I think Crystal Peaks has indeed made a great fashion statement.”
