CHOCS AWAY FOR THE CUNDY’S

A Sheffield family took flight from their South Yorkshire home to sample the delights of a free v.i.p. weekend at the UK's greatest theme park set in 500 acres, Staffordshire’s Alton Towers, and were turned into true choc-a-holics - thanks to winning a free competition at Crystal Peaks.
The Cundy’s - Eve, Max, Phil and Kay stayed at the resorts most exclusive hotel and were booked into the “Chocolate Suite” for the beginning of their fantastic adventure courtesy of the Shopping Centre. They splashed down on Saturday into the location of Cariba Creek Waterzone whilst spending time ‘white knuckling’ on roller coasters Oblivion, Nemesis, Air and Rita - the Queen of Speed in the Theme Park on Sunday. “My son Max became very lucky for us. It felt like wining the Golden Ticket from a Wonka Bar.” Explained Dad, Phil from Crawford Road,  “He was first out of the hat when he found 8 lovable little monsters in a ‘Hunt The Yeti Competition’ held at the Shopping Centre. We were booked into the Chocolate Suite which was a jammed packed with goodies, a treasure chest full of milk, white and plain, wafers, caramels and covered toffees in each and every draw you opened, even a flake dispenser, … it was like Easter and Christmas all rolled into one – and then some! The kids just loved it. Good job there was Cariba Creek to work off all those calories. It’s a spectacular indoor water park overflowing with rides, slides, waterworks, water-cannons, a flowing river, small pools and steaming outdoor pools. The vast indoor lagoon is covered with a huge domed roof, so whatever the weather was doing outside, it was always tropical inside.”

He added, “As the brochure said, Get Set From Something Extra-ordinary, and we certainly did. We’ve had a sumptuous time – screamed our way into oblivion; splashed ourselves silly, took gentle walks in the woodlands - and gossiped about ‘Project Dolphin’, rumoured to be a massive 48 million pound investment to cater for needs of more extreme forms of entertainment.  So we’d best watch out for further competitions at Crystal Peaks because like Alton Towers  - it’s where the magic never ends.”
