VALENTINE'S DAY HEART MELTER' AT CRYSTAL PEAKS …

It started with a kiss? No! Just an 'oi, me mate fancies you" in Rotherham Town Centre for romantic couple Martin and Amanda Wheatley from Thurcroft. After 19 years of wedded bliss they chose to pop into Crystal Peaks to celebrate cupid's special day - St. Valentines, this Monday 14th February and got hit by his arrow yet again!

"We knew love would be in the air - after hearing about the ‘Golden Cherub’ handing out red roses and Thornton's chocolates - and the pianist performing romantic love songs on the white baby grand." Explained Amanda, "But we were surprised to find a sculptured metre high 'ice heart' on display for some lucky person to win £500 worth of jewellery. That's a real heart melter and whoever wins will really be all of a flutter."

Commented Centre Manager, Chris Jones, "We're inviting shoppers to guess how long it will take for all the ice heart to melt - the person closest to guessing the actual time will win £500 worth of jewellery of their choice from the Centre’s retail jewellery stores. We've lovingly placed a ruby red ring and frozen it in the centre of the heart, and once it thaws to the bottom of the tray the electronic digital timer ticking the seconds will instantly stop! Entries must be in by 5 pm Tuesday (15th February). Who can resist the temptation of a free guess and will it be a diamond moment for you at Crystal Peaks?"
