DINGLES DATE WITH PEAKS...

It was like an open house at Home Farm, when Crystal Peaks went 'soapy' for a day last week with itv's top "Emmerdale" stars, Marlon 'Sebastian' Dingle and Chastity Dingle - alias actors Mark Charnock and Lucy Pargeter.

Hundreds turned out to see the famous Woolpack barmaid and Hotten chef ex. of "Chez Marlon" restaurant, as they launched new fashion stores "New Look" and "Peacocks" in the Sheffield Shopping Centre's new East Mall extension.

Camera phones, disposables, 35mm and professional digital camera's were all snapping away as the celebrity couple walked, talked and autographed their way around the award winning community Centre.

Commented Chris Jones, Centre Manager, "If you watch the highly rated Yorkshire drama "Emmerdale", then you will know who the Dingles are - the original soap family from hell. You either love them or you hate them, there's no in-between. But in real life we could not have chosen two more down to earth and lovely personable people to open these two new stores. We've all had a terrific time. The positive feedback I received and extremely encouraging comments make it a highly memorable launch event for all."

He added, "deleted first part Appropriately Chastity first came to Emmerdale as a 'revue artist' at her cousin Marlon’s stag night, so they are a related on screen couple! And Marlon's first job was a chef at Eric Pollard's wine bar - played by actor Chris Chittell who appeared in person at Crystal Peaks only last month, so there has been some real co-incidences for us recently! I sincerely hope our new look East Mall will delight visitors and shoppers alike, as we are all very pleased and proud to welcome 'New Look' and 'Peacocks' into our friendly local community of shops."
