BUY A BRICK ...

Dyb dyb dyb ... registered charity 49th Sheffield (1st Beighton) Scouts and Guiding Group want you to dyb into your pockets to "Buy A Brick" and help them with their new building fund!

Individuals, families, organisations, and companies all now have the opportunity to leave their mark and also help build a brand new state-of-the-art Scout and Guides HQ to replace the dilapidated old green wooden one currently situated on the site at the rear of Brookhouse Junior School in School Road, S20.

"There are a couple of ways our community can help make the “Buy-A-Brick” campaign a success and that’s by making a donation and helping us to spread the word! We are all very excited about our 'Buy A Brick' campaign. Every 'brick' will help us build a solid foundation for our children and the future generations of the closely knit local community." Said Dave Howes, Group Scout Leader and Chairman of the Fundraising Committee "Crystal Peaks Shopping Centre has got us off to a flying start with a generous gift of 250 bricks and we promise all sponsors will be recorded for posterity to recognise their donation and we will acknowledge commitment and support for the appeal on a register for all to see. It'll be like having a permanent place in Beigton's history. I also think it could be an excellent way to honor someone, like your parents, close friends, a loved one, perhaps a child or even a favourite teacher. The best part about buying a brick to be placed permanently on site is you don’t even have to buy it for yourself. Groups, Businesses, Organisations, Clubs, Church Groups can all get together to buy some, as well. Perhaps your employer has a Match Funding programme, you may be able to double or even triple your donation. Don’t miss this chance to ensure that you, or someone you care about, will have a lasting memorial on the new Beighton Scouts and Guiding Group's HQ.
