ARGOS EXTRA, READ ALL ABOUT IT...The brand new 'Argos Extra' sited on Crystal Peaks Retail Park has gained a little 'extra' South Yorkshire help - by way of a new manager from Sheffield's Chapeltown - Lisa Cooper.
The loyal 33 year old started her career with the retail giant as a part time Saturday girl and progressed to Deputy Manager of the company’s Worksop branch. 17 years later she has finally taken command of her very own store. Lisa, now in charge of 41 members of staff, also has a catalogue that covers 17,500 lines. 30% more than 'normal' Argos stores - hence the 'extra'. "So much so, someone came up to me and asked if we sell Reliant Robins!" Exclaimed Lisa, "I know the Centre's featured a look-a-like Del Boy Trotter and the original "Only Fools and Horses" yellow car from the television series but that's pushing it a bit - even for our fantastic range! It's great to be here and it's truly what I always wanted. Everyone is so warm and friendly and my team is pulling out all the stops to satisfy our customers. It has helped me put up with real life situations such as a returned pressure cooker full of smelly food or a toaster that only browned one side! Crystal Peaks is a real delight.
