We at Crystal Peaks Shopping mall are celebrating our 20th Anniversary this year, champagne and cake was served to our loyal customers on 14th June.

The first phase opened on March 1st 1988, with Sainsbury’s in the east mall providing local residents with their first, and much- needed supermarket.

Within two months, the reminder of Crystal Peaks was completed culminating with a spectacular aerial leap by Eddie “the Eagle” Edwards on June 14, 1988 – six months earlier than scheduled.

Centre manager Neil Wilson says “ We are very proud of what we have achieved over the years & with 20 successful years under our belt, we are now looking forward to the next 20.
