CommunitySince Crystal Peaks’ first opened in March 1988 it is not only a national (BCSC) and international award winning Shopping Centre (ICSC) but also the beating heart of it’s local community. Crystal Peaks is the first UK shopping centre to win the ‘Community Mark’ and the Centre has also won the Sheffield Business Awards for ‘Community Impact’. Both awards were presented by HRH Prince Charles Ambassador for Yorkshire & Humber, Richard Gregory.

CSR Mission Statement :
“Crystal Peaks will strive to manage effective relationships with its employees, suppliers and customers and with all others who may have a legitimate interest in the shopping centre’s activities. Crystal Peaks will endeavour to behave ethically and have full regard for the environment and society as a whole.” This statement is derived from Principle 9 of the Centre Owners’ published principles document to shareholders ie. ‘The Hermes Principles’ and therefore applies to all Hermes owned sites including Crystal Peaks. Crystal Peaks’ adopt a charity each year and these have included children’s charities - Help Hallam Child, Bluebell Wood and White Rose. More recently Age Concern and Neurocare.
